Feedback on removal of Daily Leaderboards from Teamfight Tactics
I just wanted to report on what I've noticed about my own behaviour since the removal of the Daily TFT leaderboard. I don't know how you track client use, so this might be invisible on your end.
With the Daily Leaderboard, I was motivated to log in each day and play a few rounds, as it wasn't that difficult to catch up with the top 100. While the win would only be a couple of cents (maybe a whole $1!!!), it was still a nice incentive.
If I hadn't played for a few days, it was still worth my while logging in on a Friday to take a shot at the Daily Leaderboard.
Now? I've noticed that I've barely logged in at all, and played even less. At the time of this writing, it's Saturday and I haven't played TFT all week. I could play, I guess, but the top 100 Weekly is so out of reach that it's entirely pointless for me to use GLoot. Moreover, because it's such a steep hill to climb, I find that this is a *disincentive* to playing.
Just to reiterate: because the only way to realistically compete for the Weekly top 100 is to log in and play multiple games *every* day, I'm not playing *any* day.
If lack of player participation was the cause of ye removing the Daily Leaderboard for TFT, then the removal (at least for this player) reduced player participation even further. It's highly unlikely that I'm the only one that has responded in this fashion, but I have no idea what percentage of your userbase I represent.
Just a heads up.
